The Dove Center along with the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, community leaders, and countless volunteers, is pleased to present the second annual Festival of Trees.

It is our goal to make this annual event one of the largest events in the county. The festival offers something for everyone.  There will be exhibits of decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, centerpieces, gingerbread structures, and holiday cakes, crafting workshops, a special day just for kids, live entertainment, and so much more.

We encourage everyone to join in the fun, whether you decide to exhibit, or visit the event.  What a great way to kick off the holiday season while supporting a great cause.

All proceeds benefit the Dove Center. The Dove Center began in 1991 to make the public aware of the issue of domestic violence in Garrett County.  Funds raised through the 2008 Festival of Trees will be used to help purchase a larger shelter and counseling facilities.  Click here to learn more about the Dove Center.
