Auction Process
All exhibits, unless noted, will be sold through live or
silent auction during the festival.
Trees, Wreaths, Centerpieces, Gingerbread
structures, Home Décor and other items will be judged
Wednesday afternoon.
First, Second, Third and possible “Best of Show”
Ribbons will be awarded to entries based on
judges results. Ribboned entries will be placed up for
LIVE Auction at 6:00 p.m. Friday.
Some trees could be pulled from silent or live
auction for individual raffles or listed as a “buy now
price” at the discretion of the festival committee.
Live
Auction
“Best of Show” along with First, Second and Third placed
items will go up for live auction during the Auction. The evening
begins with a “thank you designer and sponsor hour” and
a chance to walk through the displays before the
auction. The
auction begins at 7:15 pm.
An auctioneer will conduct the auction. Items go
to the highest bidder(s), in the auction tradition of
“going once”, “going twice”, “sold”.
Items that did not win ribbons can be called to
the floor for the live auction if there is enough
interest and at the discretion of the Festival Chair.
Cash or check, made payable to “Festival of
Trees” is acceptable for payment.
Sorry, no credit cards.
The following day….live auction items will display a
sign of who purchased the exhibit for all to see.
Items purchased through live auction must remain
at the festival for the duration.
Silent
Auction
Items that were not auctioned off during the live
auction at the “T’was the Night Before” Preview Party
will be available for purchase through silent auction
until Saturday. Place your bids on the corresponding
exhibit sheets.
Silent auction forms will be located at each
tree, a bid table
will be set up for other items.
The silent auction ends Saturday 5 pm.
Cash or check, made payable to “Festival of
Trees” is acceptable for payment.

Items can be picked up Saturday 7 - 8 pm or Sunday 9am
until noon.
